BSF Killers-Killing Continues!!!

I just completed my previous post “BSF-The Killers!!!” and was watching Television News and shocked to see the news.

BSF still contiounes killing Bangladeshis.

But this time is in Jessore.

The BSF shot dead two Bangladeshis on Chougachha border in Jessore Saturday, a day after two BDR members were killed by The Border Security Force of India (BSF).

The dead have been identified as Rezaul Islam (32) and Zainal Abedin (35) of Sukh Pukuria village under Chougachha, Jessore.

BDR Jadavpur company commander Mosharraf Hossain alleged that the BSF had killed the two Bangladeshi youths without any “provocation”. [In my just previous post I wrote that BSF’s regular duty is to kill Bangladeshish regularly and it is just an example.]

“Rezaul Islam and Zainal Abedin were near the barbed wire fencing in Panchpirtala border area around 5am, Hossain said. “At the time, BSF members from Moshrumpur border opened fire on them.”

Rezaul and Zainal collapsed in a hail of bullets and died on the spot, the BDR officer said.

The patrolling BDR members hearing the gunshots retaliated with rounds of blank fire.

BSF dragged the bodies into the Indian territory, the BDR officer said. (In my just Previsous post I also metioned that BSF took the dead body to India after killing)

Indian border guards gunned down two BDR men on the Raghunathpur border in Chapainawabganj early Friday, which coincided with a two-day foreign secretary-level meeting between Bangladesh and India in New Delhi.

Following the incident, the BDR and BSF members held a flag meeting, where Bangladesh border guards pressed for a probe into the killings of the BDR officers.

But I know that it will do nothing. Because BSF will continoue killing and Bangladesh will talk about peace and Indian media will focus the news like that-“Two Bangladeshi smugglers were trying to enter India and they warned them but they didn’t hear and they fired and killed the smugglers.”

BSF-The Killers!!!

The Border Security Force of India (BSF) shot dead two Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) soldiers at Raghunathpur border under Shibganj upazila in Chainawabganj early yesterday intruding into Bangladesh territory, sparking off tension at all frontiers around the country.

BDR officials said BSF guards opened fired on their personnel when they challenged the latter for illegally entering about 1,300 yards into Bangladesh territory shortly after Thursday midnight.

A group of BSF guards from Neemtita camp under Murshidabad district entered Bangladesh crossing the River Padma on a speedboat and walked over a risen shoal to Raghunathpur village of Durlobhpur union under Shibganj upazila near pillar No 110.

Being informed, a patrol team of BDR from Raghunathpur border post led by Habilder Abdul Hannan Sarker rushed to the village and challenged the intruding BSF men for violating the line of control, reported our Chapainawabganj correspondent.

Two BSF bullets hit Hannan while six hit Lance Nayek Krishnopodo Saha as BSF men suddenly opened fire on them, killing them instantly.

Forces from the 39th rifles battalion later recovered the body of Hannan, 55 of Kritunia Durgahat vilage under Gabtoli in Bogra, and of Saha, 28, of Kholabari Shimakhali village under Shalikha upazila in Magura.

The bodies of the slain BDR soldiers were sent to their homes after post-mortem in Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.

A villager Atul Gani that the bodies were recovered from a pool of blood. “Blood marks were also on the trail of BSF men’s escape path,” said the villager. (Source: The Daily Star)

Immediately after the killings, BDR retaliated with full force trading over 200 rounds of shots with BSF for about an hour.

“BSF intruded illegally and opened fire without any provocation,” Director (Operation and Training) of BDR Col Abdul Halim told a hurriedly arranged news briefing at BDR Headquarters in Dhaka.

“In the face of BDR’s counter attack, the BSF men fled leaving their speedboat behind,” Halim said adding that they also arrested an Indian national from the spot.

“We’ve been informed that a BSF member also died in the gunfight,” he told reporters. “The incident could have been prevented had the BSF not opened fire.”

BDR strongly protested the incident. “It’s a serious border violation by BSF,” Lt Col Golam Kibria Md Neyamatullah, commanding officer (CO) of the 39th battalion, told The Daily Star.

BDR members seized the speedboat left by intruding BSF personnel, a walkie-talkie, a BSF cap, and bullet casings from the scene.

It is not the first time BSF crossed Bangladeshi border. They crossed it several times before. They don’t obey the border and crossed several times before and we can say regularly. Previously some BSF people was killed inside Bangladesh in a crops filed few years ago. Except these many prove are there of BSF aggression in Bangladesh.

The killings stirred tensions at other frontiers also where BDR deployed reinforcements ordering them to remain on high alert.

Reinforcements were made at the borders and were kept alert since the morning. Residents of border areas were also seen on guard shoulder to shoulder with BDR personnel.

BDR also warned villagers and farmers of border areas to refrain from going to zero point areas for cultivation. An uneasy calm has been prevailing at the frontiers.

At the flag meeting between sector commanders of BDR and BSF held at Masudpur border point in the afternoon, BSF defended their actions and rejected Bangladesh proposal for a joint investigation into the incident.

Rajshahi BDR sector commander Col Mohammad Iqbal and Bahrampur BSF sector commander DS Sidhu led their respective sides. BSF also did not admit that they had violated the international border but agreed to reduce tension on the borders, meeting sources said. This clearly indicates that BSF truly crossed Bangladeshi border and open fired BDR men.

BBC Bangla Service, however, reported that BSF expressed regret for the killings at the flag meeting as it is normal in heir behavior and which is not new.

BSF regularly killed Bangladeshis inside Bangladeshi border and take they body to India.  It seems that it is their regular duty to kill civillinas of Bangladesh.

Well said-Blatter.

Stop treating Ronaldo like slave, Blatter tells Manchester United.

Ronaldo, a boyhood Real Madrid fan, has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital since the end of last season But his current club, which is another big name in Europe, Manchester United creates a barrier to prevent this transfer and Ronaldo’s dream move where Real Madrid is ready to give World Record fee for this transfer.

In this situation FIFA President Sepp Blatter has urged Manchester United to stop treating Cristiano Ronaldo like a ‘modern-day slave’ and let the Portuguese player join Real Madrid if he wants to.

Wading into the protracted wrangle over the 23-year-old’s future, Blatter said that the current practice of tying players to long contracts amounts to “modern slavery”.

And he urged Manchester United and Real Madrid “to sit together” if Ronaldo wants a move to the Spanish club.

“The important thing is, we should also protect the player,” Blatter told Sky News on Thursday.

“If the player wants to play somewhere else, then a solution should be found because if he stays in a club where he does not feel comfortable to play then it’s not good for the player and for the club.

“I’m always in favour of protecting the player and if the player, he wants to leave, let him leave.”

Blatter believes the issue raises questions about the way transfers and contracts are dealt with in the game.

“I think in football there’s too much modern slavery in transferring players or buying players here and there, and putting them somewhere,” he continued.

“We are trying now to intervene in such cases. The reaction to the Bosman law is to make long-lasting contacts in order to keep the players and then if he wants to leave, then there is only one solution, he has to pay his contract.”

And I think Sepp Blatter is right.

Horror in a cellar: woman tells of 24 years of imprisonment and rape by her father.

· Police told how she gave birth to seven children
· Arrested 73-year-old reveals code to secret door

Authorities in Austria are trying to piece together the details of how a 73-year-old man managed to keep his daughter imprisoned in a windowless cellar for 24 years while he repeatedly raped her and fathered her seven children.

Police said the 42-year-old woman, identified only as Elisabeth F, told them her father, Josef, had lured her into the basement of the block where the family lived in Amstetten, north-west Austria, on August 24 1984, and allegedly drugged and handcuffed her before locking her up in the dungeon. A police spokesman said she was “psychologically extremely disturbed”, but her version of events was “completely believable”.

The father was in custody last night.
She said she had been abused by him from the age of 11. “In her own words, she was continuously abused by her father,” the spokesman said. She said she had borne seven children by her father, including twins, one of whom died in 1996 after just three days. The father removed the body from the cellar and burnt it.

Police said many questions remained to be answered in the case, which is reminiscent of that of the Austrian girl Natascha Kampusch, who was abducted, aged 10, on her way to school and locked in a windowless cell before dashing to freedom in August 2006.

Police said Josef, an electrical engineering technician by training, had told investigators how to enter the basement prison through a small hidden door, operated by a secret code which only he had known.

“There is not only one, but a number of rooms: one room to sleep in, one to cook, and there are also sanitation facilities,” Franz Polzer, head of the criminal investigations unit in the province of Lower Austria, told the broadcaster ORF.

Josef’s wife, Rosemarie, had been unaware of what happened to her daughter and is believed to have assumed Elisabeth had disappeared voluntarily, after her parents received a letter from her saying they should not search for her.

The drama began to unravel last weekend when Elizabeth’s 19-year-old daughter, Kerstin, who lived in the cellar, was left at a hospital with a life-threatening illness. A search for the mother increased in urgency as Kerstin’s condition worsened.

The plight of the mother and children was discovered on Saturday night when Elisabeth and her father, Josef appeared together at the hospital. They were taken to the nearby police station where he was arrested for sexually abusing his daughter and holding her captive.

Kerstin is said to be in a critical condition suffering from an unknown illness, in the intensive care unit of Krems hospital.

“[Josef F] is so far refusing to say anything,” Amstetten’s police chief, Franz Pölzer, said yesterday. He added that Elisabeth “gave the impression of being in an extremely disturbed psychological state” and was “in a bad way physically”. She had agreed to speak to police only after being assured that she and her children would never again have contact with her father.

They said it appeared that when Josef F imprisoned his daughter in 1984 he gave the impression that she had left home of her own will. She remained on the Interpol missing persons list. Police investigators at the time were of the view that she might have become a member of a sect.

Their suspicions were reinforced when her parents received a strangely worded letter from her, stating: “Don’t look for me, because it would be useless, and would only increase my suffering and that of my children. Neither are too many children and education desired there.”

Josef and his wife, Rosemarie, repeatedly appeared in the media as the distressed parents of a missing teenager.

On various occasions between 1993 and 2002, Josef claimed that his daughter had left three children on his doorstep along with notes asking him to look after them. The couple were given permission by the authorities to become foster parents to what were assumed to be their grandchildren.

But, according to police, Elisabeth had given birth to the children in her cellar prison, along with four other children including the one that died. Her father had removed the children. Of the six children – three boys and three girls aged between five and 20 – five-year-old Felix, Stefan, 18, and Kerstin lived with their mother in the cellar, where they never saw sunlight and received no education.

“She taught them how to speak,” Polzer said, adding that Josef had provided food and clothing, but they had never received any professional medical care.

DNA tests will be carried out in the next few days to confirm that Josef fathered the six children, but the spokesman said: “All indications point to the fact he did.”

The cellar was being searched by forensic scientists yesterday, while others combed the grounds of the house, bordered by high hedges. “There are things that you just don’t want to see,” a policeman at the house said. “The fewer pictures you have in your head, the better.”

Police said Elizabeth’s mother was not suspected of involvement, having accepted that her daughter had run away. “As far as we’ve been able to ascertain, the wife of the accused had no contact with the 42-year-old woman and the other children,” a local council official, Heinz Lenze said. The mother was also receiving counselling.

One neighbour said Josef had been “inconspicuous” and “always greeted us in a friendly way.” Another said she had often seen Rosemarie with her grandchildren. “She is really very nice, taking the grandchildren to school -but we knew nothing of what was really going on.”

An example of the hidden corruption of “Modern” and “civilized” west.
